    This research is aimed to describe the social skills in class VII SMP 29 Pekanbaru through the implementation of Whole Brain Teaching strategy. The expected benefits of this research for the basis of further determine the success of students using many different learning approaches. This study was conducted in SMP 29 Pekanbaru in November 2015. The subjects were students VII6 totaling 42 students. The form of this research are used pre-experimental design form the One Shot Case Study. Data collection tools in this study was the social skills observation sheet. The results were obtained based on the indicators of social skills, they are; to encourage participation; taking turns and sharing of tasks; active listening, students have the social skills that are still categorized each meeting with the average percentage of each indicator to increase as high. It is possible with a whole brain teaching strategies can practice social skills class VII SMP 29 Pekanbaru on substances that change the subject and closed it

    Analisis Kandungan Ion Fluorida Pada Sampel Air Tanah Dan Air PAM Secara Spektrofotometri

    Fluoride ion is one of the compounds that are known to have benefits in the prevention of dental caries when used in certain concentrations, but also hasnegative effects that may cause the occurrence of dental and bone fluorosis when the intake was in excessive concentration.One of the fluoride intakes comes fromwater that is consumed. The aim of thisresearch was to identify and measurefluoride ion levels in groundwater and piped water that used as drinking water consumption in the community. Measurement of fluoride ion concentration isdone by using visible spectrophotometry at the maximum wavelength of 586 nm using the sodium 2-parasulfophenylazo 1,8-dihydroxy-naphthalene-3,6disulfonate (SPADNS)-zirconil acid reagent. This method was optimized by thesearch of range of absorption which stable for 10 minutes after reagent addition.The limit of detection, limit of quantitation, and coefficient of variation forfluoride ion were 0.0452 mg/L, 0.1506 mg/L, and 0,63%, respectively. While therecovery of fluoride ion in sample were in the range of 90,50-102,04%. The measurement results of the samples showed levels of fluoride ions in groundwaterand piped water varied between 0.05 to 0.78 mg/L. This range was still within allowed levels according the rules of Indonesian health ministers No.492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010 where the maximum allowable fluoride concentration is 1.5mg/L

    Penerapan Strategi Pembelajaran Aktif Rolled untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa IPA Fisika Kelas VII SMPN 40 Pekanbaru

    Abstrack: This research aimed to describe and find out the improvement of the students\u27 motivation learning achievement by using learning active strategy of Rolled. Type of this research is a quasi-experimental, with nonequivalent control group design. The subject of this research is students class VII at SMPN 40 Pekanbaru, total of 176 students as divide into two class, experimental class and control class. The data in this research is a score of motivation before and after learning physics by implementation of learning active strategy of rolled model with descriptive and inferential analysis.Then, measured the improvement of the students\u27 motivation by normalized gain (gain-N) and t-test. The descriptive analysis score motivation of students at experimental class in middle category and increase in the middle category with N-Gain 0.49, and the control class in the middle category with N-Gain 0,37. This proved by inferential analysis, the analyzed shows t(44) = 7.409 means p < 0.05, then Ho is rejected. Which means that there are difference in motivation of learning between experiment class and control class. It can therefore be concluded that the implementation of learning active strategy of rolled to students\u27 motivation learning achievement in physics on science at the seven grade of junior high school 40 pekanbar

    Penerapan Strategi Metakognitif Untuk Melatih Penalaran Formal Dalam Pembelajaran Fisika Pada Siswa Kelas X SMA IT Al-ittihad Pekanbaru

    This research aimed to describe the ability of formal reasoning in students class X SMA IT AL-Ittihad with metacognitive strategies. The subjects were science students class x totaling 19 person. Data collection instrument in this research is the formal reasoning ability test consisting of 15 items about reasonable option. Analysis of data in this research is descriptive analysis to see an overview of the result of formal reasoning ability of students to learn using the criteria of absorption, enhancement of formal reasoning ability, and effectiveness of learning. From the analysis of the data shows : the averages absorption class is 71.9% with the good category, each indicator has increased formal reasoning, and declared effective learning effectiveness. Therefore, the application is declared effective metacognitive strategies to train and improve the ability of formal reasoning in physics learning in class X SMA IT AL-Ittihad Pekanbaru

    Renal dysfunction can be caused by several factors, including hypertension, urinary tract obstruction, autoimmune disorders, urinary tract infection, diabetes mellitus, consumption of drugs that affect nephrotoxic and antibiotic from aminoglycoside class. Breadfruit leaves (Artocarpus altilis (Park.) Fsb.) is a traditional plant that hasbeen used empirically to treat kidney diseases. The research has been done to figure out the nephroprotective effect of breadfruit leaves infusion on white male rats strain Sprague-Dawley previously inducedby carbon tetrachloride. There were 25 rats which were divided randomly into five groups. Group I which was the normal control group received CMC 0,5%. Group II which was the carbon tetrachloride control group was induced with carbon tetrachloride that was dissolved in the coconut oil 0,4 mL/kg bw rat. Group III, IV and V were administered doses of infusion 13,5 g/kg bw/day; 27 g/kg bw/day and 54 g/kg bw/day for 7 days. Two hours later, the animals were given carbon tetrachloride induction. At the 8th day, the blood was collected from the orbital sinus and then the rats were performed a surgery to collect the kidney. The urea and creatinine plasma level measurement has been done by colorimetric method and histology of kidney was observed. One way ANOVA (&alpha;=0,1) of the study showed that nephroprotective effect of breadfruit leaves infusion were significantly different among groups and dose of 54 g/kg bw/day has the best nephroprotective effect

    Perbedaan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Berdasarkan Gender dalam Pembelajaran Fisika dengan Model Collaborative Learning Dikelas X Madrasah Aliyah Al-ihsan Boarding School Kampar

    The purpose of this research was to describe student\u27s motivation based on gender in learning physic and to describe the differences in student\u27s motivation based gender in learning physic by model collaborative learning in Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ihsan Boarding School. The expected benefits of this research is the basis of the increase student\u27s motivation to learn physics based on gender. This research was conducted in Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ihsan Boarding School, Kampar from February to May 2015. This research used 1 boy\u27s class with 15 students and 1 girl\u27s class with 18 students. Design of this research is one group pretest – posttest and data collection instrument was questionnaire. The result of this research found that boys have higher motivation then girls before treatment. Before treatment, boy\u27s motivation is 73,5% in high category and girl\u27s motivation is 69,1% in middle category. But, after being given treatment by model collaborative learning, both of class decrease learning motivation, namely 69,3% in middle category for boys and 61,1% in middle category for girls. The result show that boys have higher motivation then girls before and after given treatment Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ihsan Boarding School

    Hasil Belajar Kognitif Fisika Siswa melalui Penerapan Strategi Metakognitif pada Siswa Kelas XII Mia 1 Sman 8 Pekanbaru

    The purpose of this study is to describe the cognitive learning outcomes of student's physics through the application of metacognitive strategies. The research method used is Pre-Experimental by using One Shot Case Study design. This research was conducted at SMAN 8 Pekanbaru in May 2016 until June 2017 with research subject at Class XII MIA 1 consisting of 35 students. The data in this study is the results of student's cognitive learning outcomes test which are diagnostic test in the form of multiple choice reasoned amounted to 10 questions. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis that is by determining the absorption and learning difficulties of student. Based on data analysis, the result shows that the average absorption of students Class XII MIA 1 is 70,7% which is in good category. For the analysis of the student's learning difficulties, the result is that at each stage of problem solving on metacognitive strategy shows that from 34 students almost half of them have difficulty in understanding stage of problem, problem solving planning stage and interpretation stage, and only a small part having difficulties in planning stage plan. This means that students have the ability to process data in a good mathematical form

    This research aims to determine the increase student's attitude toward science in learning physics at class X SMA IT Al-Ittihad Pekanbaru through the implementation of Metacognitive Strategies in lesson temperature and heat. The subjects were students of class X Putri totalling 18 students. The metodh used in this study is pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest desigs. The instrument of data collection in this study is the attitudes towards science questionnaire consists of 24 statement that include 4 attitude toward science indicator which is attraction toward science, science learning activities, importance of science, views toward science's environmental. Data analysis in this study is a descriptive analysis to determine the increase student's attitude toward science in learning physics. The research showed the gain student's attitude toward science at class X SMA IT Al-Ittihad Pekanbaru through the implementation of Metacognitive Strategies in lesson temperature and heat are in middle category (0,42), increase of the student's attitude toward science in each of indicators in middle category, except importance of science in low category
